Granollers, 1980 Roser López Espinosa is Bachelor in contemporary dance by the MTD of the Theaterschool in Amsterdam / AHK (2001-05). She follows choreography workshops at SNDO and a physical training by Jaume Miró (former Gymnastics Spanish National Team trainer). She is granted a danceWEB-Europe scholarship for ImpulsTanz Festival in Vienna in 2005 and a study scholarship for Tanz im August Festival in Berlin in 2006. Trajectory as a dancer: She starts as a trainee in Magpie Music Dance Company, directed by Katie Duck in Amsterdam. During 2004-07 she works in Holland with choreographer Marta Reig Torres: More Day More Night (selected as one of the best productions of the season - Nederlands DansDagen), Camino and The space in between. In 2007 she works as well in projects Coping by Susana Amarante Duarte in Lisboa and Cordón de plata III. Tiempo en blanco by Las Malqueridas in Barcelona. In 2008 she works in Barcelona in productions Flexelf by Àngels Margarit / Cia Mudances, Mozartnu 1986-2008 by Iago Pericot, Solochellobach by Bebeto Cidra, as well as in StripteaSeS by Pere Faura (Kalamata Festival, Greece). In 2009 she participates in “Encuentros en Magalia 2009” meetings for contemporary creation by Red de Teatros Alternativos (Spain) and dances in Íker Gómez’s production Apple Street. In 2010-11 she takes part in Àngels Margarit / Cia Mudances 25 year retrospective, dancing the group piece Kolbebasar and Margarit’s internationally acclaimed solo Corol·la. Trajectory as a maker: In 2006 she makes her first solo, The lizard’s skin, awarded First Prize of Solo Contest at 11MASDANZA – International Contemporary Dance Festival of the Canary Islands 2006 (Spain). Since then, this piece has been presented at international dance festivals in Spain, Holland, Italy, Czech Republic and Japan. In 2008 she premieres her second solo, Còncau II, in program BCSTX by theatre Mercat de Les Flors (Barcelona). The piece is later awarded Second Prize New Tendencies in International Choreography Contest Burgos – NY 2008 and presented in international festivals and dance programs in Spain, Holland,Germany, Japan and Egypt. In 2010 she premieres the dance and video duet Miniatura in program La Caldera - Festival GREC de Barcelona. Miniatura is awarded Third Prize XXIV Madrid Choreography Contest 2010 and selected for Aerowaves 2011 European network. Programed at festivals in Spain, The Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic and Slovenia. In 2011 she takes part in the choregraphic project BCN_MTL by centres La Caldera in Barcelona and Circuit-Est in Montreal. To be presented within Festival GREC 2012 in Barcelona. In 2011 she is selected as one of the five most promising choreographers from the Spanish scene, by dance magazine Susy-Q. In 2012 she collaborates as a dancer and maker in project Traduccions by choreographer Cesc Gelabert and cinema director Isaki Lacuesta. Mercat de les Flors, Barcelona. Other projects: In 2012 she collaborates in the graduation project of Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance SEAD by teaching her solo The lizar’d skin. In 2011 she does the movement assitance for the production L’home que perdia els botons by Circ Pànic, nominated for the Catalan circus Prizes Kirkòlika de Catalunya 2011. Production Acaba't la sopa by Anna Llopart / CaixaForum (2011); dance film Fil with video maker Abel Cunillera (2009); research project Cinemascope (2008); documentation dance company for Mal Pelo (2004 and 2006) with researcher Isabel de Naverán. Aartistic direction of 1st international contemporary dance and video dance festival CALIDOSCOPI, Teatre de Ponent (Granollers, 2006).
